My Tale
I was raised by an entrepreneurial mother and a creative dad. Their encouragement led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science.
Years in university were filled with struggle and failures, but the universe’s balance was always at play. The more challenges I faced with numbers, the better I became with words. By the end of the fourth year, I decided to combine my love for writing and technical knowledge.
I spent the next ten years as a technical writer and editor in e-commerce, Business Intelligence, and telco industries. I wrote technical documentation, UI/UX copies, blogs, and set up practices for technical writers.
A decade in the industry was enough to push me out of my comfort zone. It was a significant change from being a part of large teams to flying solo.
Yes, there were days when I was lost, confused, and stressed. To familiarise myself with the world of consulting and freelancing, I decided to hone my craft. I took up courses connected to entrepreneurs and peers.
Eventually learned the ropes of working as a consultant for small and medium businesses. As a freelancer, I wrote articles, product descriptions, social media posts and set up processes for NPOs and small to medium businesses.
My grandparent’s ability to weave words of wisdom into intricate stories lead me to pursue a master’s in international communication. My formal education and life experiences are reflected in my writing and art.
Whether I am helping a tech company or reviewing creative work, the common theme is a story. Everyone has one and uses it to sell their ideas.
